David Olson D.C.
Dr. David Olson is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1980. Throughout his career, he has been active in the profession and served on the Board of Governors of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia, the regulatory board for profession in BC.
He has participated in research at the Vancouver General Hospital Spine Clinic and has received numerous professional awards for service from the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and the BC Chiropractic Association.
He has practiced in Edgemont Village in North Vancouver for over 30 years.
Brian Arthur D.C.
Dr. Brian Arthur is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto, 1983. Dr. Arthur also holds a Bachelor of Science (University of Saskatchewan, 1979) in Physiology and a Master of Science in Epidemiology (University of London, UK, 2009). Dr. Arthur served as a volunteer on the British Columbia Chiropractic Association’s Board of Directors and was the ICBC Liaison Chairman from 1996 to 2005. He also served as President of the Association from 2000 to 2003.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Arthur is a Research Associate, International Collaboration for Repair Discoveries (ICORD), Faculty of Medicine at University of British Columbia. His research interests include sciatica and how Chiropractic care helps people with sciatica as well as back and neck pain. Dr. Arthur received the 2015 Award of Excellence from the British Columbia Chiropractic Association. In addition to practicing part-time at Edgemont Chiropractic for the past 10 years, Dr. Arthur has operated Kerrisdale Chiropractic in Vancouver since 1990.
Christine Beere, BHK, RMT
Christine holds a degree in Human Kinetics specializing in Exercise Physiology from the University of British Columbia (1995) as well as a Massage Therapy Diploma from WCCMT. Christine uses unique techniques to facilitate the body’s return to its natural state of balance. These tools include Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Manual Tissue Manipulation, Sports Massage, Active Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Mobilizations, Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral, Therapist Assisted Stretching, Therapeutic Exercises and Hydrotherapy.
Christine uses an integrated approach including massage therapy, chiropractic and other body-balancing philosophies. She believes this is essential to one’s wellness routine in order to maintain fitness levels and also to prevent injuries before they happen.
Sheila Hamilton, RN, BCRPA, NSCA-CPT Certified Personal Trainer
Sheila worked as a registered nurse in B.C. for 10 years at Vancouver General Hospital. Sheila’s passion for maintaining current fitness knowledge and her background as a registered nurse provide the foundation for fitness programs that achieve results. Sheila opened It’s Time! Fitness Results training facility in July 2012. She offers personal training, semi-private and group sessions.
